Support Tailored To You

Every individual’s journey is unique, and so is the support provided. Offering evidence-based psychological services grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a Schema-Informed Therapy lens, each approach is carefully selected to suit personal needs and goals. With a strong emphasis on empathy and psychological safety, this space is designed for individuals to gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.

Clarity Through Assessment

Understanding oneself is a powerful tool, and comprehensive psychological assessments provide the clarity needed to navigate challenges with confidence. Using empirically supported and standardised assessments, diagnoses such as ADHD, neurodiversity, learning difficulties, and cognitive strengths and challenges can be explored with precision and care. Assessments are not just about labels—they offer deeper insight into individual experiences, guiding tailored support, interventions, and informed decision-making. Conducted in a safe and supportive environment, each assessment is approached with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to uncovering the information that truly matters.

At Mind & Soul Psychology, therapy is about creating a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you can explore your challenges, build insight, and work towards meaningful change. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers a chance to slow down, reflect, and find new ways forward.

Our Approach

We believe that no two people are the same, which is why therapy is tailored to your individual needs, goals, and pace. Laura draws on evidence-based approaches including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) – building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – learning to make space for difficult experiences while moving towards what matters most.

  • Schema-Informed Therapy – addressing long-standing patterns and deep emotional needs with compassion and care.

Benefits of Therapy

People often find therapy helps them to:

  • Better understand themselves and their emotions.

  • Build coping strategies for stress, anxiety, or low mood.

  • Improve communication and strengthen relationships.

  • Heal from past trauma and break unhelpful cycles.

  • Gain clarity, direction, and confidence in daily life.

Therapy is not about quick fixes—it’s about creating lasting change, one step at a time, in a space where you feel heard and supported.
